Neutrogena Deep Clean Mask/Daily Cleanser Review!

Hi there Beauties :)
Sorry I've been MIA for a longgg time, I'm just so busy with highschool! I'm going to try to post at least once a week.

Yesterday, I went to Shopper's Drug Mart and picked this baby up. It comes in two sizes (large and small) and I opted for the large one. I already knew I liked it because my Aunt had had it at her house when I slept over and I tried it out.

It is a blue intensive facial mask or it can be a daily cleanser. I'm going to use it as a face mask...so it's time for review!

Product: 9/10
As the product itself, it is fantastic! I used this last night and my face is less oily (it has shine control) and my acne is basically gone. It brings the pimples to the surface of your face and I don't doubt it willl eventually eliminate all traces of my pimples!

Packaging: 7/10
Now, I would actually prefer it to be inclosed in atleast a plastic box. That way, you know you would get the full product. Someone who is trying to harm people might slip like, poision inside of them. That's probably never happened, but hey...you never know!

Overall: 16/20
I love, love, love this product and I cannot wait to see what it will do with my Lush face mask! :)

Would I reccomend this?
 Definitely! It works flawlessly (:

Insanity Day 15: Fit Tests 1 & 2 --> Comparing

Hi Beauties! :)
So today was Insanity Day 15, also known as the second Fit Test day. I've seen an improvement in my cardio already and it's only the third week! Let me tell you, it is tough. If you have severe knee problems don't do this. As well as if you have mild-severe hip, back, leg and arm problems...it's not for you, haha. It is INSANE. I don't know how I do it. I bet I've gained muscle already, but I won't take a picture until the third fit test (Day 36). I absolutely hate Globe Jumps, they are horrible...as well as push up jacks, I just don't get them.

Here is Fit Test #1, the very first day I started Insanity.

Switch Kicks: 70
Power Jacks: 37
Power Knees: 63
Power Jumps: 44
Globe Jumps: 9
Suicide Jumps: 7
Push-Up Jacks: 7
Low Plank Oblique: 25

Not too bad, but not amazing either. But hey, I wasn't very athletically inclined when I started. But I'm improving, that's for sure.

Fit Test #2:

Switch Kicks: 94
Power Jacks: 52
Power Knees: 81
Power Jumps: 50
Globe Jumps: 13
Suicide Jumps: 13
Push-Up Jacks: 10
Low Plank Oblique: 60

As you can see, I've really improved. The ones that have a lower count is the really hard ones, plus you get so tired by the end. Insanity has became a routine for me, I feel really guilty when I have to skip one workout. But I do it the next day. I basically come home from school, have a quick snack and around 3:30/4:00 my brother and I go workout. He doesn't think my reps are correct, but he's just jealous I got more than him.

Again, I'm not doing this to neccesarily lose weight, I'm doing it to tone up. It's really fun, but bring a small towel and a large water bottle with you! :)

Disclaimer: Insanity was purchased by my brother and I. I am not getting paid to mention it nor am I affiliated with the company. I am just a user! :)

Insanity: Day 2!

Hey Beauties!
So today was Day 2 out of 60. I thought the fitness test was hard yesterday...this was like 1000 times harder. The warm-up itself lasted for at least 15 minutes. I now understand why it is called Insanity, it is INSANE!

Your whole body is just shuddering and shaking once you're done (I think I may be over-exaggerating just a bit ;P ), no but you feel like jelly! :D You do plenty of running (football style was my favourite!), jumping and push-ups.

Insanity!

Hey Beauties!
Sorry for the lack of posts, you know how school is ;) So, no I am not going insane...this is about the workout DVD's by Shaun T (who is gorgeous (; ). Today, being the day before I start it, I thought I should post some before pictures and my measurements :) Keep in mind  that I'm 14 and a half years old and 5'8"/
Front Views

Side Views

Keep in mind that I had just ate and zoomed in a ton. So as you can see, I'm pretty skinny. But I'm using insanity to ton up. So, here are my measurements!

Weight: 130 lbs.

Waist: 28.5 in.

Chest: 34 in.

Bust: 33 in.

Arms: 10 in.

Bottom: 36 in.

Thighs: 19 in.

Calves: 13 in.

I'm not doing Insanity to lose a lot of weight, I really just want to tone up! :) Insanity is a 60 day workout program and I will be updating probably every other week or every fitness test (:

Disclaimer: I was not given this for free to review, this is my own choice. Insanity was purchased by my brother and I.

The Piercing Of The Ear

Today, I decided that it was time. Time to get my ears re-pierced.

I walk into the jewelery store and start looking at the earrings. After about five minutes spent looking at them, I chose 14k gold tiny diamond studs; the smallest they had. So the lady wipes down the *new* guns with a wipe and then instructs me to sit down. She then asks if I want them pierced in the same spot, explaining if I did it would really hurt. I said she could move it higher up on my ear (like 1mm from the original holes). She did have to straighten out one of them, as when I got my ears pierced from before they were super crooked.

She then took one of the disposable guns, counted to three and bam! My right ear was done, she then did the exact same thing to the other ear. By far, my left ear hurt so much more. Then a little while later, we were walking by the store again and the lady calls us back. The guns didn't put my backings on, so the girl said it would hurt since she had to jam it on. But, it didn't hurt too bad. Actually, I barely felt it.

Getting your ears pierced feels like you're stapling your ears, to be honest. I'd have to rate it a 3/10, I have a low pain tolerance (:

Where I've Been and What's To Come!

Hey Beauties!
Sorry I have been MIA for a while, but I have been babysitting like mad and preparing for highschool. Now, you may ask 'are you nervous?', my answer will be 'not at all!'. I am going back to school shopping on Monday and getting my ears re-pierced (eek!). There's something about back to school shopping that I love. I don't know why, I just do.

In January or February (after first semester) I am getting my...navel pierced. Yes, my navel (bellybutton). I'm not afraid of needles, they just...creep me out. I cannot look at the needle...haha. I've been wanting this forever and the fact that my Mom's doing it with me is even better.

Uses for Lemon Juice?!?!

Hey Beauties :)
I'm back from being MIA. So sorry about that. Anyway, I'm going to be posting uses for lemons/lemon juice...ready?

~ Acne: Yes, I've been trying this overnight acne treatment for a few nights now. You just squeeze half a lemon into a small, airtight container and use a cotton swab/ Q-Tip. Just dip it into the juice and apply it. Even if you get it into your mouth, it's still yummy!

~ Lightens Dark Underarms: Cut half a lemon and rub it onto the area :)

~ Lightens sunspots/freckles/darkspots: Put the juice on your face, sit in the sun for 5-10 minutess every week and bam! Just be careful, if you sit out too long...uh-oh :( It can bleach your face.

~ Hair Highlights: I suggest going to this Youtube and looking up Stilababe09 Lemon Juice Highlighting :)

~ Bleaches unwanted hair: Got that 'happy trail' of hair going from your stomach to...down south? Rub the juice on any unwanted hair and sit outside in the sun. This incudes upperlip hair too :)
...
That's all for today :)

Emergency Room & About Me!

Hi there Lovelies,
So I've had an eventful week! On Sunday I was experiencing really bad chest pains. It got so bad that I was in tears and could hardly breathe. My Dad took me to the emergency room where I was sent to the Triage Room (Pre-examining room). They took my blood pressure (hurts like a...you know what ;] ), my temperature and my oxygen level. I was then sent to the waiting room where I was third called (pretty good, huh?). I was then hooked up to an NGK (or is it EGK?...) which is a heart monitoring type machine-thingy. I got stickers stuck on me! :D The nurse left and obviously I wasn't took important because it took almost two hours for the doctor to actually get to me.
The doctor looked at my hands and felt my chest and stomach, asked me questions and decided I needed an X-Ray. 45 minutes later the technician walks in, takes me away and gives me a gown to put on (which, for the record, I put on backwards the first time!). I had 2 chest x-rays and then twenty minutes later the doctor announced I had NOTHING wrong!!

Ear Piercings

Hi Lovelies,
Lately I've been debating whether or not to get my ears re-pierced. I have decided if I do go through with it, I'll later want my second holes and then a third on my right ear.
I love how cute and simple this girl's piercings are. She has four holes on her lobe, her tragus and inner conch. It looks so effortless and cute, I love it. But of course, minus the tragus and conch and fourth hole and I'd be good.

I hate when ladies--and men-- have overly pierced ears that it just repulses everybody. I like simple, but cute piercings.

Next Saturday (one week and a day!) I might get my ears pierced at Claire's. Please, don't tell me how bad it is I am aware...but I don't necessarily care (if that's the right word?). I've had my ears pierced with a gun before and I didn't get an infection, I will be fine! If you want, I will do an overall review on Claire's piercings and FAQ asked about ear piercings and I will post a picture of my newly pierced ears! :)

xoxo Alyssa

5 Things that make me SMILE!

Hi Lovelies,
Today I am doing something different. Five things that make me SMILE! :)

5. Kisses in the rain.
I think these are just adorable. When I see someone being kissed in the rain it warms my heart, it's just so romantic! A nice way to say you care :)

4. Good grades.
I always feel happy/relieved when I get a test or assignment back with a good mark. I know I've put a lot of effort into it and it just makes me happy!

3. Blogging/ Hearing From YOU!
I love blogging in my spare time and reading comments/emails from you guys. It makes me so happy to hear you love my blog.

2. Inside jokes/Friends/Family.
Inside jokes with friends and family just make me smile and laugh. I love it when you say something like 'Happy Free Hug Tuesday!' and no one knows what it means!

1. Smiles.
When someone smiles at me, I naturally smile back. It's called being polite and friendly :)

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this! <3 What makes YOU smile? Answer in the comments below and don't be shy! I will respond to mostly every single comment I get :)

Review, Guest Blogger, Where I've been...

So I guess I will start with where I have been. My computer wasn't quite working and on top of that I have school, picking up my graduation dress and just hanging out.
Now for the Guest Blogger part. If you'd like to be a guest beauty blogger email me at: alyssa.princess.37@gmail.com
I will tell you when I need your article in by and what it should be about. I may ask questions, get you to do a tag or just get you to write an article on beauty (hair, fashion, make-up, etc.).

Now for the review. So sorry that there will be no pretty pictures for you :(
Maybelline's Falsies Mascara Review!

Packaging: 7/10
The packaging it came in was average, but the whole tube of mascara is purple, which is my favourite colour. It is also average. But the wand is unique, it's kind of curved! :)

Product: 5/10
Like most people on YouTube, I have a love-hate relationship with this. Yes, it makes my lashes thicker and fuller but I don't get much length (which is expected, it is a volumizing mascara after all) and it's getting clumpy. I only bought it Saturday! I wasn't very impressed and I absolutely adored the Great Big Lash mascara.

Overall: 12/20
Remember, what didn't go over will with me, might go good with you!

32 Question Get To Know Me Tag!

Browsing on Elle and Blair (from Youtube)'s website click here to go there, I came across this tag and it looked like so much fun! Blair did it on their forum, so I decided it would be fun to try :)

Is it cute when guys kiss you on your forehead?
Yeah, it's adorable :)

A big poofy dress or a short party dress?
Depending on how poofy it really is ;) I do enjoy short dresses that have a little bit of a poof to it though :) But most of the time I would pick a short party dress.

Are diamonds a girl's best friend?
They could be ;) But for me, I'm not really too big on diamonds :)

Is your hair up or down today?
Up, like usual. It's my comfy, laid back go-to hairstyle--messy buns and loose pony tails :)

Do you straighten your hair?
Mm...I try not to straighten it much, only for special occasions like picture day or a wedding.

Favourite mascara?
Maybelline's Great Big Lash <3

Do you get your nails done?
Once in a blue moon. I prefer a DIY manicure..

Small or Large purses?
Definitely large, you can never go wrong ;)

Jeans or sweats?
Sweats are my best friend <3

Do you wear clothes/shoes/jewellery that's uncomfortable?
Occasionally, not very often though.

Do you text message a lot?
I don't have a phone...

What's your favourite colour?
PURPLE!!

Heels or Flats?
Flats.

Would you ever leave the house without makeup on?
I do it all the time :)

Walmart or Target?
Walmart. We don't really have Target's in Canada, but all Zeller's stores are turning into Targets!!

Do you think lipgloss is the best?
NO! I can't stand anything on my lips.

Do you own any big sunglasses?
Pshh yeah, hello they are all the hype! ;)

How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
Fifteen to twenty minutes. My hair takes a longgg time :P

Gold or Silver?
Do I have to pick? I like them both equally...

Do you like to wear dresses?
Yeahh, they're my favourite!

In the last 48 hours have you hung out with a guy?
Counting my family, yes but just a random guy...no.

Do you like to hold hands?
It's cute enough ;)

What do you notice when you first meet a guy?
His eyes, personality and smile. I need to know what the guy is all about!

Do you like making eye contact?
Yeah, people mistake me for staring at them sometimes...

Would you kill for chocolate?
Not really.

On a scale of 1-10 how fun is shopping?
Infinity!! But it depends on who it is I'm shopping with.

Do you yell a lot?
Yeahh, you could say that. I'm a very loud person.

Do you wear sweatpants/pyjamas to school/work?
I wear sweatpants to school a majority of the time.

Have you ever dressed unlike yourself to impress a guy?
Nope, never. I don't believe in doing that.

What makeup could you not live without?
Mm...I don't have a specific brand, but mascara is a life saver.

Do you fall in love easily?
Sigh. I used to be so naive and open but now I'm much more reserved and guarded. But if I've liked a guy previously before, I can still feel a tinge for that guy when I see him. But I'm in love right now with a boy who I never get to see <3

Do you have cramps?
Only if I eat/drink too much then do something active.

Do you think you have the bestest friend ever?
YES! <3 She's awesome, I love her (like a sister). We've only been best friends for two years, but we have tons of laughs.

Perfume Review: Someday!

Hi Beauties! :)
I know, I know I've been sort of MIA for a while but its been my birthday and I've had lots of assignments and such. So without further ado, here is my review of Someday by Justin Bieber. Don't click away now, I promise you that this review is great!

So this is what my baby looks like. It is my first perfume (not body mist) and I've had it since Saturday. It is the limited edition one, so this version will not be available for much longer. The other bottle is clear with pink hearts, I believe. I think the LE one is prettier :)

Scent:
Top Notes:Juicy mandarin, pear, wild berries. Heart: Fresh jasmine, creamy flowers. Base: Vanilla and soft musk.
Oh my gosh, this smells like heaven! I'm already a big fan of JB but that didn't influence me to want this perfume. [For me] It starts off really floral-y then it transitions into a more fruity scent and then a soft sweet scent. It is honestly my signature scent at the moment. I'm saying 'Screw it' to the body mists, Someday is my baby! I love how this smells, it's so unique and...different, I'm loving it. I'd rate it an 8.5/10 and I'm very hard to please.

Packaging:
This was very well packaged. When I received this as a birthday gift on Saturday, it had plastic on the outside and then a big box under that. You open the box and there is another box and you open that and nestled in protective wrapping (I'm pretty sure) is the perfume. I have the biggest size (100 mL) for those who were wondering. The packaging is a 10/10.

Appearance:
This is actually very appealing with a red glass bottle and heart shaped flower petals on it. The charm also fits quite well, the 'key to his heart' charm is what I got. It's very chic and elegant, which I love. I would rate it an 8/10.

Overall: 26.5/30!
Congratulations, Justin you made an outstanding perfume! I will totally repurchase this when I'm finished with it. You girls should go out and buy it, it smells amazing!
xox Alyssa
Disclaimer: I received this as a gift from my wonderful aunt. Thank you very much! <3 I am in no way trying to brag, I just thought I'd do a review for y'all.

Project Pan!

Hey Beauties!
Today I am going to tell you about my latest project, Project Pan Bath and Body Works Edition. So I have picked 3 products to start with since I do have full sizes ;)

So the first product I want to use up is my Country Chic body mist. I love this scent, it's my favourite as of right now but I don't need full size body mists, I'm going to opt for travel sizes from now on, ha ha.

All right, the second product I want to use up is my Midnight Pomegranate shower gel. This scent is okay, it's not my 'go-to' forte scent though ;)

The final product is my Warm Vanilla Sugar creamy body wash. I love this with all my heart, it smells so good! <3

Project Pan is when you pick some products you want to use up. You cannot buy this product until it is all gone. That is basically a run through.

Review: Clairol Natural Instincts Hair Dye

Hey Beauties! :)

So last night I dyed my hair with Clairol Natural Instincts in 11G, Lightest Golden Brown. My hair is a shade darker and it is a beautiful colour. It feels so healthy, and this hair dye doesn't damage your hair as bad! :)

All right, above is my before picture. Light Brown/Dark Blonde Hair. Yes, I have grey-blue eyes.

The second picture, with my hair dyed. It doesn't really appeal as darker in pictures as it does in real life. Yum, I have just woken up! Wake-y, Wake-y! :)

Review:
Packaging: 9/10
It caught my attention with 'Natural'. And then with the model's picture. It comes neatly packed with all you need; 2 pairs of gloves, conditioner, the dyes and the two week revitaliser!

Smell: 9.5/10
Honestly, this is the best smelling hair dye I've tried yet. It smelt kind of like fruit to me *embarrassed face* and the conditioner is so yummy! <3 I had dyed my Mom's hair two days before and her dye (Nice and Easy Foam) smelt so horrible, I swear if I got any closer it would burn my nose :P

Colour: 8/10
I like it, but I just wish it was a tad bit darker, I want something more noticeable.

Overall: 26.5/30
My hair doesn't feel dry and damaged, it feels soft and silky! <3 I do believe that my hair got a very subtle amount of damage, hardly any from this hair dye. I will continue to use this brand as it comes with many shades :)

Mini Thrift + Drugstore Haul!

Hey Beauties!
Today I went to a local thrift store and Zeller's, which I guess you could count as a drug store ;) For those who don't know, a thrift store is a store with second-hand clothing for cheap and Zeller's is Target's sister. But the thing that really excites me is that all Zeller's stores are being taken over by Target!! :) I'll start with the thrift store. I got 2 things, I guess it just wasn't my day :(

This is one of my favourite shirts! :) It's originally from Blue Notes and it's so cute and feminine! :D It was only $7.99 when it's originally, like $20.

This is my baby <3 It's a hot pink button down shirt from Hollister. It was only $4.99 and it is my favourite shirt. It's so cute and simple and chic! :') Tears of joy, Ha ha.

This is my hair dye. I'm going to be dying my hair tonight. It is the Clairol Natural Instincts in 11G Lightest Golden Brown. My Mom helped pick this out :) I will do a review on it tonight with before and after pics :)

Skin Care Routine for Oily/Acne-Prone Skin!

Hey beauties :)
It's Lyss here again, sorry I've been missing in action lately :P I've decided that this is not only a hair blog but a BEAUTY blog :) Thus, I should change the title.

So, here is my current skin care routine. I like to change it up every time I finish my products. I don't use a moisturiser every day and it's not really apart of my routine, but when I do use it I use the Nivea Soft Cream moisturiser, so there you go.

Cleanser:
I use my HG (Holy Grail) product, Aveeno Clear Complexion cleanser and I really have liked it since November :) I've been using it for four months now and I really like it, but I think my skin is getting used to it because if I don't splash water on my face before I use this, it really irritates my skin and makes my face go red :( So I'm guessing after I finish it's time for a new cleanser.. :( :(

Exfoliator:
Clean & Clear Purifying Facial Wash is my exfoliant. I try to use it every week, but I use it normally every 2-3 weeks =x I know, horrible right?

Toner/Makeup Remover:
All right, so this product acts as a 21-in-1 basically it's a toner, cleanser, remover, etc. It's Witch Hazel and I just use it to remove my eye makeup, it has a HORRIBLE stench to it..so, use at your own risk ;) But it's good for bruises and cuts and such. It smells bad, but I promise it works great :)

So, that's my skin care routine, these products are pretty cheap seemingly that they are drug store products.

Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with this company. All reviews are 100% honest and I'm not getting paid to mention these. I bought these products with my own money for the exception of Witch Hazel and the Nivea Soft Creme, which my Mom bought.

Review: Aveeno Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser!

Hey guys!
Sorry I've been MIA for a week or two, my camera is being stupid :( Anyway, I thought I'd do a review on the one skin care product I cannot live without!

Packaging:
8/10
The packaging is great, in my opinion. I love how it has a pump and how it's cute and simple. It's not too to big, but it's not really small. It's just right, but you may have a different opinion on that ;)

Product:
10/10!!
I LOVE this cleanser!!! I have oily/acne prone skin and this does wonders for me. Within one usage my skin was obviously more clearer. I use to have acne a lot on my forehead and that's completely gone. I still have a few spots here and there on my cheeks, but there is hardly anything anymore.

Length Of Time Using: 4 months

Overall/Additional Details:
18/20
This cleanser is my life...literally! I simply cannot wait until I wake up or go to sleep, knowing my skin is getting a great treatment. At first, I only had to use one pump but now, to satisfy my skin more I use 3-4 pumps. But don't worry, I never waste product like this. This specific product is one my my holy grail products. I strongly recommend it to anyone who has oily or acne prone skin. Also, it smells like apples! :)

Disclaimer:
I bought this with my own money.
I am not affiliated with this company or product.
This is my honest review, I would not lie to you.
I am not being paid to mention this product at all nor am I paid to do a review.

Thanks guys!

My Current Hair Obsessions & My Hair Care Routine! :)

Hi beauties!
These are my current hair obsessions!
Tresemme's Clean & Natural Shampoo ~ $6.50 - Zellers (Target)
Exact's White Peony Conditioner ~ $ Unknown - Grocery stores
Infusium23's Heat Activated Leave In Conditioner ~ $3.00 - Zellers (Target), Drugstores
Conair Shower Comb (Done a review on it, price unknown)
Goody Paddle Brush & Bobby pins (Prices unknown, store unknown)

Care Routine!
So, in the shower/bath I use my Tresemme shampoo (above) and massage it into my scalp, making my way down to my ends. I rinse immediately--it's not good for your hair to leave shampoo in for a long time. Then I use my Exact conditioner on the bottom half of my hair, focusing more on my ends. When I get out of the shower, I wrap my hair in a towel and get into my clothes or pyjamas. I take the towel out, spraying Infusium23's Leave-In Conditioner  onto my ends, combing it through. I comb the rest of my hair and let it air dry.

I use heat 2-4 times a month, hardly any heat is used though.

Maybelline Great Big Lash Mascara Review:

This is the mascara I've been raving about to EVERYONE. Today, I'm doing a review for you girls so you know how much I really love this product. So, recently I've just gotten into all that make-up stuff a lot. I was a bit before, using pressed powder for coverage and eye shadow. I'm expanding my collection, and this sits amongst it all.

Packaging:
8.5/10
I'm a BIG fan for pretty packaging and this hot pink and green packaging has caught my attention. I'm also a sucker for media, that's what got me to buy this...( :3 ) The packaging is great, it's travel-friendly, takes up little room and is very lightweight.

Formula/Colour-age:
 7/10
I got this mascara in blackest-black. Really, it does nothing but apply volume to my lashes. I don't think anyone can see it, unless I'm not apply enough of this? But I do really love the volume you get from this, it seems natural and almost as if you're wearing false lashes.

Overall:
15.5/20
This mascara has grown on me, I've been using it since January 16 and let's just say, I'm LOVING it!! It wasn't too expensive for a drugstore product and it's a very lightweight mascara. The only thing I don't really like about it is that when I rub my eyes, it comes off onto my skin.

Disclaimer:
I am not being paid to review/mention this product.
This is 100% my own honest opinion, as it always will be.
I have not been contacted by Maybelline in any way about this product.
I am not affiliated with this company.

I'm Horrible + DIY Sugar Foot Scrub!

I know, I'm a horrible person for not updating this more often. I promise a tutorial soon, but I'm going to be doing a 'Spa Series'. It will consist of DIY (Do It Yourself) tutorials or recipes. This week's is a sugar foot scrub. I use this for my feet but you can use it for your face, lips, body, hands, feet...any part of your body.

Ingredients:
~Water
~Sugar
~Honey (Optional)
~Lotion
Personally, I don't use honey. The scent just repulses me, but if you choose to use it please use sparingly.

In a bowl add sugar (as much as you want) and a little bit of water (not too much). Mix together to form a paste. If you want it thicker add more sugar, if you want it thinner add more water. Soak your body part in water (take a bath, it's my favourite!). Massage on any part of your body for 1-5 minutes, I like to let it soak into my skin a little bit too for a few seconds at least (more like 30 sec). After, rinse your body part off (let's assume it's your feet) and apply lotion. It's very important to moisturise your skin, I cannot stress this enough!  If you have left over solution, use a small container and seal it in there. Use once a week for good results.

Random Talk Of The Day #2

Hey guys :) Welcome to RTOTD #2, I found this a while ago, lost it then found it again. I think this is either by myself a few years ago or one of my friends...I'm not quite sure, but it really inspired me for the present and future. :3

I'm so jealous, a jealous freak. But, I brought it on myself I'm the one who made him runaway. It's not his fault nor is it mine--we're only human, things and feelings change.I made a mistake and that's part of life; you make mistakes and learn from them. I learned a valuable lesson in life: Don't let the one you love runaway, bring them back. But if you really love them, set them free. If they really love you, they'll come back. I did exactly that, I set my first real love free and he did come back, as my best friend instead. Yes, best friends are important to you in life and you love them nonetheless for who they are, not who they aren't. This boy, my closest long-distance friend, the one I trust with my secrets. I have another best friend, yes but our relationship isn't quite the same. We've only been *best* friends for two years now, we don't have any history behind us from the past. But with Him we have a lot of history, we were young and in love--I've never had a relationship like that since...I've only been in one since we broke up and it was...horrible. The guy was--and is--a complete meanie. I was happy when me and 'guy' were over. I only want Him (not 'guy') to be happy and he is, I'm happy too but I still have those feelings for him and I always will. Nothing is going to change that, he was my first love for crying out loud :) He's the best and I love him as a best/close friend and he loves me as a friend too :)

So...yeah, I think that may have been by me but I'm not sure. I'm not sure when it was written either, that's horrible :P But it did inspire me and make my heart fill with joy :)
Hope you enjoyed my little inspiration piece.

Review: Conair Shower Comb

My baby ^ Mmhm, that's what it looks like ;)

Hey girls! Today I'm going to be doing a review on the Conair Wide Toothed Detangling Shower Comb--mouthful, I know. So, I'll be listing the pros and cons of this comb below.
Pros: Not too big, but not too small; great for distributing conditioner/product, detangles hair with an 'ouch-less' feel, lightweight--perfect for travelling.
Cons: It's almost too big, if that makes sense. Sure, it is travel size and all but..it isn't that small.
--As you can see I don't have any problems with this comb, it's perfect for my thick, long layered wavy-straight hair. I don't recommend it for styling, but for detangling wet hair it's perfect <3 I hope you've enjoyed this review, it's my first ever review so don't be too harsh ;)

Update-y Thing and just random talk ;)

Sorry I haven't been posting many tutorials or anything...yet ;) I'm putting together a really cool tutorial for you, so stay tuned.

So next Sunday I am going shopping with my grandparents--if you're thinking 'oh wow, you're so cool', my grandparents are cool and so much fun to shop with--to a couple malls that are close to each other. One is HUGE complete with two or three stories, a huge food court and my favourite...Bath and Body Works!! There is those cool-teen stores too, big brand names you know..Guess, West 49, Campus Crew, Garage...? But it's mighty expensive in most of those stores ;) If I love something, I don't have a problem with buying it if I know I'll wear it and cherish it :P

Something about walking the length of the mall, chatting all things with my grandparents, aunts, Mom etcetera, is just enchanting. I love slowly walking around the stores, looking at all the wonderful clothing articles, make-up products, books--you name it. I love trying clothes on and bursting out of the change-rooms with a flourish and announcing "I LOVE this!" it's just a great feeling, you know? No, you probably don't. Most people go shopping alone or with friends and I feel as if when I go with friends it's kind of a competition...I prefer to shop with my family :) So yes, there will be a haul with some pictures, prices and store names ;)

The beach. Summer. Romance novels. Sigh, this year is going by quickly which I'm glad. I miss summer and all things that go with it. I love walking along beaches, swimming and bikini season ;) Haha, but the only thing I hate about what I call 'bikini season' is that girls think it's 'cute' or 'hot' when they wear bikinis that show off everything--it gets on my nerves! >.< Personally, denim shorts and a bikini top with my big sunglasses is 'cute' enough for me without showing off anything.

Winter's sure not itself lately. It's not very cold out nor is there very much snow :( Oh well, I can live with this weather, I'm quite enjoying it actually.
